How does the Uber, Avios and RevPoints stack work?
The stack works because three separate schemes all reward the same Uber payment, and none of them cancels out the others. Each one is earned independently:

One detail makes this better than it first looks. British Airways calculates Avios on the trip price before promotions, according to its Uber terms. So spending your Uber One credits on a later ride doesn't reduce the Avios you earn on it.
Which Uber rides earn Avios in 2026?
Not all of them. In June 2026 Uber replaced its flat 1 Avios per £1 with a tiered structure, as Reward Flight Finder reported. These are the current UK rates from British Airways:

This is the most important thing for commuters. If you take UberX to the office, you earn no Avios at all. Choosing Comfort, or pre-booking with Uber Reserve where it's available, turns the same journey into an Avios-earning one. Comfort usually costs a little more than UberX, so check the price difference on your route before switching every trip.

Which Revolut plans include Uber One?
Revolut Premium, Metal and Ultra all include Uber One in the UK. The standard and Plus plans don't. There's one important difference between them, according to Revolut's help centre:
- Premium (£8.99 a month): only if you've never had Uber One before, including a free trial.
- Metal (£16.99) and Ultra (£60): included whether or not you've had Uber One before.
Uber One itself costs £4.99 a month or £49.99 a year direct from Uber. As well as ride credits, it gives £0 delivery fees on eligible Uber Eats orders, and 10% credits on car hire and Lime bikes and scooters.
There's a key condition. To keep the benefit, you must pay for Uber with your Revolut card added directly, or Revolut Pay. Paying with your Revolut card through Apple Pay or Google Pay doesn't count, and nor does any other card.

How much can you earn on a typical commute?
A lot more than most people expect. Here's a worked example for someone spending £200 a month (£2,400 a year) on Uber Comfort to get to work:

Avios are often valued at around 1p each, and more on premium cabin flights. On that basis, the Premium set-up returns roughly £54 of Avios plus £120 of Uber credit a year, so the Uber benefits alone cover the plan's £108 cost. Uber One credits expire after 60 days, so they're only worth this much if you use them.
If you switch the same commute to Uber Reserve at 3 Avios per £1, the Uber Avios jump from 4,800 to 7,200 a year.
Who gains most: people who use Comfort, Reserve or Exec most days, and who'd use Revolut's other bundled perks too. Metal and Ultra only make sense if you'll use their travel insurance, lounges or subscriptions, because the extra RevPoints alone don't cover the higher fee. How to set up the stack, step by step
The whole setup takes about five minutes:
- Open a Revolut account through our Revolut link and upgrade to Premium, Metal or Ultra in the app. Any welcome reward that's running is shown in your invitation.
- Activate Uber One in Revolut. Tap your profile, select your plan, scroll to benefits, tap "See all" and choose Uber One. You must be in the UK when you activate it.
- Add your Revolut card to Uber directly as a payment method, or use Revolut Pay. Don't add it through Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Link the British Airways Club. In the Uber app, go to Account, Settings, scroll to the bottom, tap The British Airways Club and select Link Account. Both are free to join. Avios aren't backdated, so link before your next ride.
- Opt in to RevPoints in the Revolut app if you haven't already.
- Book Comfort, Reserve or Exec for journeys you want to earn Avios on.
- Convert RevPoints to Avios in the Revolut app when you're ready. Your Revolut details must match your British Airways Club account.

What are the catches?
The stack is good value, but there are conditions worth knowing:
- UberX earns no Avios unless it's an airport trip or booked through Reserve.
- Revolut plans are 12-month commitments. Premium, Metal and Ultra are 12-month plans, so you're signing up for at least £108 a year.
- Premium's Uber One is for new Uber One customers only. If you've had it before, you'd need Metal or Ultra.
- Payment method matters. Uber One through Revolut only works if you pay with the Revolut card added directly or with Revolut Pay.
- Uber One credits expire after 60 days or when your membership ends, and can only be used in the UK.
- Tips and fees don't earn Avios. British Airways uses the trip price before promotions, excluding tips and fees such as cleaning charges.
- Terms can change. Uber already cut Avios earning on standard rides in June 2026, and partner perks can be withdrawn at short notice.
Finally, don't book more expensive rides just to earn points. A Comfort ride that costs £3 more than UberX earns about 2 extra Avios per £1, but that's only worth it if you'd value the comfort anyway.
