Premium is the Revolut plan most likely to pay for itself. It's also just got more expensive, so it's a good time to check whether it still earns its place. I've gone through Revolut's Premium page and fees today to show what you get, what changed in October, and the simple test for whether it's worth it for you.

Key takeaways

  • Premium now costs £8.99 a month or £90 a year for new customers. Existing customers pay £7.99 until 19 December 2026.
  • No exchange limit and no weekend fees, plus £400 a month of free ATM withdrawals (2% after, minimum £1).
  • Savings at 3.25% AER (variable), compared with 2.90% on the free plan.

How much does Revolut Premium cost now?

Revolut Premium costs £8.99 a month, or £90 a year if you pay upfront. New customers have paid this since 14 October 2026. If you already have Premium, your price rises from £7.99 (or £80 a year) on 19 December 2026, according to DepositScout's report on Revolut's updated UK fees page.

Old price New price Extra per year
Monthly billing £7.99 £8.99 £12
Annual billing £80 £90 £10

The benefits didn't change with the price rise. You're paying £1 a month more for the same plan.

If you're an existing customer: annual payers keep their current price until renewal. Monthly payers who don't accept the change have the right to close their account free of charge before it takes effect, under Revolut's Paid Plan Terms. A free downgrade without closing the account is at Revolut's discretion, so ask in the in-app chat.

Premium is a 12-month plan. If you pay monthly and downgrade early, a break fee may apply. Check the terms in the app before upgrading.

What does Revolut Premium include?

Premium adds a lot over the free plan. Here's what Revolut's plan comparison and Premium page list today:

Feature Standard (free) Premium (£8.99)

Free ATM withdrawals £200 or 5 a month £400 a month

Purchase protection None Up to £2,500 a year

Above the £400 ATM allowance, Revolut charges 2% per withdrawal with a minimum of £1. The ATM allowance runs on a rolling month from the date you started the plan.

Which subscriptions come with Revolut Premium?

Premium includes a bundle of partner subscriptions at no extra cost. The headline one is Uber One, which gives £0 delivery fees on eligible Uber Eats orders and credits on rides. On Premium it's only for people who haven't had Uber One before. Metal and Ultra don't have that restriction.

Other subscriptions Revolut lists for Premium include:

  • Headspace (meditation and sleep)
  • NordVPN Standard
  • Freeletics (fitness training)
  • Sleep Cycle Premium
  • Picsart Gold (photo editing)
  • Tinder Plus

Revolut rotates its partners from time to time, so check the Plan Partnerships list in the app for the current line-up before you upgrade. Partnership T&Cs apply to each one. For Uber One to work, you generally need to pay with your Revolut card or Revolut Pay. Our guide to stacking Uber One, Avios and RevPoints shows how to set it up.

Revolut values the whole Premium package at around £1,750 a year. That's an estimate based on Revolut's customer data from October 2025 to April 2026, and it assumes you'd use everything. The useful question is what you would use.

Is Revolut Premium worth it?

Revolut Premium is worth it if the perks you'd genuinely use are worth more than £90 a year. For most people that comes down to three things.

1. Subscriptions you'd pay for anyway. If you already pay for a VPN, a meditation app or a fitness app, Premium may cover them. That alone can cover the fee.

2. Travel and currency exchange. If you exchange more than £1,000 a month, or travel several times a year, unlimited exchange with no weekend markups and £400 of free ATM cash save real money.

3. RevPoints. On £1,000 a month of card spending, Premium earns 3,000 RevPoints a year, against 1,200 on the free plan. If you convert them to airline miles at 1:1, that's 1,800 extra miles a year.

The savings rate on its own isn't a good reason to upgrade. Use the calculator to see why:

On £10,000, Premium earns about £35 more interest a year. That covers well under half the £90 cost. You'd need around £26,000 in savings before the higher rate alone paid for the plan. Our Revolut savings account review covers the rates and FSCS protection in more detail.

Revolut Premium vs Metal

Metal costs £16.99 a month (£165 a year), which is £75 a year more than Premium on annual billing. The main extras are travel insurance, more subscriptions such as the Financial Times, ClassPass and MasterClass, £800 of free ATM withdrawals, 1 RevPoint per £2 and 40% off international transfers.

Annual price £90 £165
Travel insurance No Yes
Free ATM withdrawals £400 £800
Savings (AER, variable) 3.25% 3.40%
RevPoints 1 per £4 1 per £2
Uber One New Uber One members only Included even if you've had it

If you'd otherwise buy annual travel insurance, Metal can be the better deal. If you mainly want Uber One and the everyday apps, Premium gives most of the value for less. Read our Revolut Premium vs Metal comparison for the full head-to-head, the Revolut Metal review for the travel insurance details, or the Revolut Ultra review if you fly most months.

Who is Revolut Premium best for?

Premium may suit you if you:

  • Use Uber or Uber Eats regularly and haven't had Uber One before
  • Would use two or more of the bundled apps
  • Travel abroad a few times a year and want no exchange limits or weekend fees
  • Spend £1,000 or more a month on your Revolut card and collect airline miles

It's probably not worth it if you mainly use Revolut as a holiday card, wouldn't use the subscriptions, or only want a higher savings rate. If your exchange volume is the only issue, the Revolut Plus review covers the cheaper option.

Investing through Revolut carries risk. Capital at risk: the value of investments can go down as well as up.

FAQ

How much is Revolut Premium per month?

Revolut Premium costs £8.99 a month or £90 a year for new UK customers from 14 October 2026. Existing customers pay £7.99 a month (or £80 a year) until their price rises on 19 December 2026. Premium is a 12-month plan, and a break fee may apply if you leave early.

Does Revolut Premium include Uber One?

Yes, Revolut Premium includes Uber One in the UK, but only if you haven't had an Uber One membership before. Metal and Ultra include Uber One even if you've had it. You usually need to pay with your Revolut card or Revolut Pay for the membership to stay active.

Does Revolut Premium include travel insurance?

No. Revolut Premium doesn't include travel insurance. It includes purchase protection up to £2,500 a year, extended refund cover and event ticket cover. Travel insurance starts on Metal at £16.99 a month, with medical cover and cover for delays, luggage and car hire excess.

Can I cancel Revolut Premium early?

You can cancel at any time, but Premium is a 12-month plan, so monthly payers may pay a break fee if they downgrade early. Annual payers keep the benefits until the end of their paid year. If you don't accept a price change, Revolut's terms let you close the account free before it takes effect.

Is Revolut Premium better than Monzo Premium?

It depends on what you want. Revolut Premium is cheaper and stronger for travel, currency exchange and partner subscriptions. Monzo's paid plans focus more on budgeting tools and interest. Our Revolut Premium vs Monzo Perks comparison covers both plans in detail.

The bottom line

Revolut Premium is still the best-value paid plan for most people, even at £8.99. Unlimited exchange, £400 of free ATM cash and the subscription bundle can easily be worth more than £90 a year, but only if you use them. If you're an existing customer, review your plan before the price rise on 19 December.
